In keeping with the music themed sites, we bring you Minuit. Its a site for a band that are from New Zealand. Their new site takes you on a magical journey through a circular land as you explore the various area’s of the site. You start of creating a character and then once you have named it, you use the arrow keys to navigate around. Climbing over rocks, jumping over ponds … all while listening to their latest hit.

I love the navagation. Because you are in their world, you are running along the inside of the sphere, and you encounter the various area’s as you go left/right. When you get to a new section, for example “Gallery” something happens, in this case you use a flower to fly over the gallery so that you can 1) see it all and click on any if you want to view them, 2) interact with the world more.

I love this kind of idea. It captures the user into exploring what could be around the next ‘corner’ and thereby making them aware to all the area’s of the site. Well Done!
