Every once in a while you come across a site that has just what you need for a particular client. Problem is that most of the time the site will be completely awash with ads and will discourage you to return. Spoon Graphics is the brain child of Chris Spooner who is a graphic designer based in the UK. This blog is where Chris give tutorials on how to create little characters in photoshop all the way to proper brush use.

orderedlist

The great use of un-common colours such as black, green, and blue, with the simultaneous use of larger than normal fonts, is both simplifying and making this blog unique. The use of colours instead of images keeps the load time down to a minimal amount and the clever use of icons all over the show is very eye-catching.

Joshua Ink

Although the designer of this site says that his trade is a “hare-brained scheme”, if we look at his work we can kind-of see it. We can ‘clearly’ see that there is a mass of colour bursting out of, and from behind the text.
